
In response to societal changes and the evolving mission of the university, the National University of Tainan established the College of Arts in 2007. Guided by a commitment to both tradition and innovation, the college aims to nurture professionals in the fields of music, drama, visual arts, and design.
The College of Arts currently has 28 full-time faculty members, including 10 professors, 13 associate professors, and 5 assistant professors. Most hold doctoral degrees from renowned institutions in Taiwan and abroad. They are deeply committed to teaching and bring rich experience in both artistic practice and education.
The college is home to nearly 800 faculty and students across the following departments and programs:
- Department of Music
(Bachelor’s Program, Continuing Education Bachelor’s Program, Master’s Program, and In-Service Master’s Program) - Department of Visual Arts and Design
(Bachelor’s Program, Master’s Program in Visual Arts, Master’s Program in Design, and In-Service Master’s Program) - Department of Drama Creation and Application
